Frequently Asked Questions

What does the homeowner need to provide?

Very little! We simply ask that you provide access to your grill and a standard electrical outlet within approximately 50 feet. We bring our own professional cleaning equipment, commercial-grade degreasers, fresh water, and everything needed to complete the job.

Do I need to provide water?

No. We bring our own clean water and remove all wastewater and debris when we're finished, leaving your outdoor space clean and tidy.

Do you use a pressure washer?

No. Pressure washers can damage burners, ignition systems, temperature sensors, electronics, painted finishes, and stainless steel components. We use specialized hand tools, brushes, scrapers, vacuums, and professional food-safe degreasers designed specifically for BBQ grills and smokers.

How long does a professional grill cleaning take?

Every grill is different, but most cleanings take approximately:

• Small grills: 1½ hours

• Medium grills: 2 hours

• Large grills and built-in outdoor kitchens: 2½–3 hours

• Pellet grills and smokers: 2–3 hours

Heavily neglected grills may require additional time.

Do I need to be home during the service?

Not necessarily. As long as we have access to the grill and a nearby electrical outlet, many customers choose to have us complete the service while they're away. We'll communicate before and after your appointment to ensure everything is completed to your satisfaction.

How often should I have my grill professionally cleaned?

For most homeowners, we recommend a professional deep cleaning at least once per year. If you grill frequently—especially several times per week—we recommend cleaning every 6 months to maintain peak performance and reduce grease buildup.

Why should I have my grill professionally cleaned?

Professional grill cleaning helps:

• Improve food flavor

• Reduce dangerous grease flare-ups

• Extend the life of your grill

• Improve heating performance

• Increase fuel efficiency

• Remove grease, carbon, insects, rodents, and food residue

• Keep your outdoor kitchen looking its best

Regular maintenance also helps identify worn parts before they become costly repairs.

Do you clean built-in outdoor kitchen grills?

Yes. We specialize in cleaning built-in grills and outdoor kitchens while protecting surrounding countertops, cabinetry, refrigerators, side burners, and other outdoor appliances.

Do you clean pellet smokers?

Absolutely. Pellet grills require specialized maintenance to remove ash, pellet dust, grease, and creosote buildup. We thoroughly clean the firepot, hopper, auger area, drip tray, cooking chamber, and exhaust system to help restore performance.

Can you repair my grill?

Yes. We offer many common grill repair services, including replacing burners, igniters, regulators, thermometers, knobs, flavorizer bars, heat plates, and other wear items. If we discover an issue during your cleaning, we'll discuss repair options with you before performing any additional work.

Do you sell and install new grills?

Yes. If your current grill has reached the end of its life, we can help you select a quality replacement and professionally assemble or install your new grill. We also install many built-in outdoor kitchen grills.

Can you restore a neglected grill?

In many cases, yes. We've restored grills that haven't been cleaned in years. While every grill is different, our deep-cleaning process removes significant grease, carbon buildup, and food residue, often making grills look and perform dramatically better.

Will professional cleaning remove rust?

Surface rust can often be improved through cleaning and polishing. However, heavy rust or corrosion may require replacement parts. We'll always provide honest recommendations based on the condition of your grill.
